Message: I got my dryer from Joe and his wife 20 years ago and only just had to take it in to get a roller replaced. That was Wednesday, I picked it up today (Friday). They are fast, efficient, friendly, very affordable even on my limited budget, and always make me feel like I'm part of the family when I'm there. It will be a sad day indeed when these folks decide to retire.

Message: I have done business with these people several times and always left with a quickly repaired appliance, paid less than expected, and I am very happy to have a reason to speak with these kind and knowledgeable people. This is a terrific business!

Message: Went in with a picture of the lint catch i needed for my dryer. The adorable old lady behind the counter was very helpful. Definitely will go there again for anything else that i need parts for.

Message: We bought a washer and dryer from them and when we got home the dryer had the wrong plug- in for our wall, they let us bring the plug back and exchange it free of charge. Then a few days later I noticed that the washer was REALLY loud. Joe the owner came out and picked it up, totally rebuilt it and delivered it all back to me, again FREE OF CHARGE. For the same price as this set I could've bought a set of craigslist, but if my craigslist washer broke I'd just be S. O. L. and probably have to bring it back to AJ's and pay to have it repaired.

Message: My front loading washing machine stopped rinsing after 10 years. Come to find out the part is super easy to replace. I shopped for prices online and wanted to call some local appliance repair shops. The first shop I called made me feel like I was the bad guy for not just letting them order the part without getting some other quotes. (we are talking less than $100 - but I always try to get the best price). I called A J's Appliance next and was refreshed to hear a very kind person on the other end. He even said I should try to look online for the part I was looking for. (Who Does That! ?! ) He said he could have the part tomorrow and when the price was practically what I could get it for from Amazon I was sold! - A little bit of kindness goes a long way and these folks treat you very well. I got the call around 10:30 am the next day that they had my part at the shop. When I arrived to pick it up I was greeted kindly by the folks here. The part was factory and new and I was happy they were able to get it so quickly. Best of all, I was able to buy local! Although I did not have them perform any repairs, I will be calling them at the drop of a dime as my experience with them was top notch. I plan to spread the word.

Message: As a long time single Mother on a limited budget, I called A J's Appliance and spoke to a woman named Deloris. After hearing my issue with my Whirlpool Washer (weak agitator) and aiding in diagnosing it, she not only had the part (in stock) I needed at a very reasonable price, but confirmed that I could do the fix myself! This is JUST the customer service that gets 5 Stars from me. Thank you, Deloris for you up-beat sense of humor and your confidence!
